WORLD SUPERBIKE WEEKEND @ ASSEN 2024

On Sunday 21 of April we where invited by the 2 time WORLD CHAMPION Jeffrey Buis to meet him and watch him racing. Unfortuenatly Jeffrey was unfit after a crash on Saturday, meaning we had some time to walk and talk.

First on my visit list was the daughter of Mr. Mamoru Moriwaki, Miss Midori Moriwaki, who is leading the MIE RACING team, competing with 2 bikes in the World Superbike Championship and with 2 bikes in the SSP 600. The family of MORIWAKI has a special place in my hart & life for years. I admire them as a small company achieving great and fantastic things in Endurance and Superbike racing over the last 40 Years.

Note: Jeffrey Buis and myself started working together when he stepped up into the Moriwaki cup in 2016.

I met Mrs Midori before, at Assen, that was already 8 years ago and it was nice to see eachother and have some chit-chat. Midori is till the same down to earth woman, who has my deepest respect.

Een gezellige Road Race middag !

ROADRACING ISLE OF MAN TT & CLASSIC MANX GRAND PRIX OP ZATERDAG MIDDAG 27 JANUARI 2024 !

Start 14.00 uur!

Op deze middag dag organiseren we een Themadag bij Old Racebike Garage te Gendringen!

Bij welke motorliefhebber die van motorracen houdt staat het niet op het verlanglijstje; een bezoek aan de Isle of Man?

Voor een ieder die geïnteresseerd is motoren / racen houden we een speciale themadag.

Wat mag je o.a. verwachten:

Koffie --> groot scherm --> goede verhalen --> gezelligheid in een hele leuke en unieke winkel met als thema: old superbikes 💪🏻 waar alles wat er staat te koop is !

We hebben plaats voor 30 personen, daarom is je opgegeven wel gewenst.

Als je ons een privébericht stuurt zetten we je op de gastenlijst en ben je er bij!
